Democratic Party / General Conference

I come from a fairly conservative family and I have become more conservative as my family has grown.

I look at the Democratic Party and I wonder what is the difference between the two candidates; maybe liberal and more liberal. What is the difference between the candidates? If either one of them get elected, we will have higher taxes, less choice in everything, higher prices, worse public schools, etc. I just can't believe that anyone would vote for them.

After mowing the grass today, I totally forgot about my dd piano lessons. I rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon. My dh will take her as I will be at Birthright tomorrow afternoon.

As the end of the school year approaches, we are getting done with more of dd's curriculum. We are done with math, language and American History. Abeka is one of the best curriculum's for homeschoolers.

These Most Shocking TV shows on TruTV are great shows. We enjoy watching them after the kids on in bed. We also like to watch Forensic Files. Some the stories are unbelievable but they are interesting to watch. It helps us to destress. My dh has a very stressful job as a Pastor. He is extremely busy with meetings, trying to merge two churches, visitation, etc. He just has lots to do and is sometimes gone a lot.

General Conference is this week and we all need to be praying that they will stay within the United Methodist founding principles. Here is a link to a prayer calendar for General Conference. Tomorrow or sometime this week, I will give my opinions about what is happening on General Conference.
